Since 1978,
Randy King has been using the art of mime to transcend
cultural and linguistical boundaries to present the
Gospel in clear and uncompromised terms.
While he has traveled and taught in France and was a
featured performer at the 1992 World Expo in Seville,
Spain, his heart has been touched by the people of
Russia. He has traveled there since 1991 and returned
in August of 1999 to announce his plans to take up
residence there as of July 3, 2000.
He mainly travels to the Ivanovo region (approximately
150 miles Northest of Moscow. He works with the Ivanovo
Christian Center there. Using Ivanovo as a base, he has
traveled as far north as St. Petersburg and south into
Moscow. He has established many lasting friendships and
has an outreach to the deaf and hearing impaired of
Ivanovo in which he does annual performances at the
school there.
Living in Knoxville, Tennessee, he has traveled
throughout the Southeast ministering in small group and
large church settings, outdoor concerts, and large
arena events. He is a member of the worship team at his
local church Trinity Chapel, trains mission teams for
outreaches in South and Central America, and works
closely with the local hospice and home health programs
in the area at bereavement camps and memorial services.
The single father of three children, he has begun to
incorporate his children in his ministry and they have
traveled with him to Russia
